arrival and contact
Via the A 8, Munich – Salzburg, you can reach Bayrischzell (via Schliersee) either via the “Weyarn” exit or the “Irschenberg” exit in 20 entertaining minutes. If you are coming on the A12 from Innsbruck or Rosenheim, please take the exit “Kufstein” and then drive along the scenic Ursprungspass (about 50 minutes) or alternatively take the exit “Oberaudorf” and drive along the famous Tatzelwurm mountain road to Bayrischzell (about 40 minutes).
You can also easily reach the Alpenhof by plane. The airports of Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck are available for this purpose. The distance to the hotel is about 60 minutes.
Tip: The Alpenhof is also very easy to reach by public transport: The Bayerische Oberlandbahn BOB runs every hour on the Munich – Bayrischzell route. The “Osterhofen” stop is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. For holiday guests there is the low-priced “BOB-MVV” ticket. With this ticket you can use all MVV and BOB connections in the Munich area all day long.
